Robert D. Briskman - Technical Executive of Sirius XM Radio

Robert D. Briskman was Chief Technical Officer and Executive Vice President, Engineering of Sirius Satellite Radio since its founding in 1991 and is currently Technical Executive of Sirius XM Radio. Over the prior 32 years, he directed the implementation of satellite telecommunications systems at COMSAT and NASA. Mr. Briskman holds engineering degrees from Princeton University and University of Maryland and is a Fellow of IEEE and AIAA. He has published over 50 technical papers, holds a number of patents, received the AIAA 2007 Aerospace Communications Award and has been inducted into the Space Foundation and SSPI Halls of Fame.


 

Dr. Arthur M. Keller - Managing Partner, Startup and Intellectual Property Practice

Dr. Keller was co-founder of Mergent Systems, which was acquired by Commerce One in January 2000, and as Chief Technical Advisor and Board Member of Persistence Software, which went public in June 1999. Dr. Keller currently advises startups on technical, business, and intellectual property strategy, and serves as expert witness on patent infringement cases as managing partner of Minerva Consulting. He was on the faculty and research staff of Stanford University, The University of Texas at Austin, and Brooklyn College and is also a researcher and lecturer at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He earned M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University, and B.S. from Brooklyn College. He has published over 70 technical papers and books, and has lectured at many universities, companies, and conferences in many countries and is listed in Marquis' Who's Who in America, Millennium Edition.
